1 Prophetic
revelation is for the unbeliever, as well as believer, and is a gift
that wins souls.
1Co 14:24 But
if all prophesy, and some unbeliever or one not instructed comes, he is
convicted by all, he is judged by all.
1Co 14:25 And
so the secrets of his heart become revealed. And so, falling down on
his face, he will worship God and report that God is truly among you.
2 This
last-day-generation is to be an anointed and prophetic people who
win souls by the gifts of the Spirit.
These visions and
dreams will be the Father communicating to the church His strategy for
the harvest.
Act 2:17 And it
shall be in the last days, says God, I will pour out of My Spirit upon
all flesh. And your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your
young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams.
3 Example of
prophetic evangelism with Jesus and Nathanael
Joh 1:47 Jesus
saw Nathanael coming to Him and said of him, Behold an Israelite indeed
in whom is no guilt
Joh 1:48
Nathanael said to Him, From where do You know me? Jesus answered and
said to him, Before Philip called you, when you were under the fig
tree, I saw you.
Joh 1:49
Nathanael answered and said to Him, Rabbi, You are the Son of God. You
are the King of Israel!
Joh 1:50 Jesus
answered and said to him, Because I said to you, I saw you under the
fig tree, do you believe? You shall see greater things than these.
Joh 1:51 And He
said to him, Truly, truly, I say to you, Hereafter you shall see Heaven
open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of
Man.
4 Example of
prophetic evangelism with Jesus and the woman at the well.
Joh 4:4 onward to...
Joh 4:29 Come
see a man who told me all things that I ever did. Is this One not the
Christ?
Joh 2:24 But
Jesus did not commit himself unto them, because he knew all men.
5 Example of
prophetic evangelism with Ananias & Saul.
God spoke though a
vision to Ananias to direct him to a Saul; wow, what a fruitfull vision!
Act 9:10 Now
there was in Damascus a disciple named Ananias. The Lord said to him in
a vision, Ananias. And he answered, Here am I, Lord.
Act 9:11 And
the Lord said to him, Get up and go to the street called Straight and
ask at the house of Judas for a man of Tarsus named Saul, for behold,
he is praying [there].
Act 9:12 And he
has seen in a vision a man named Ananias enter and lay his hands on him
so that he might regain his sight.
Act 9:13 But
Ananias answered, Lord, I have heard many people tell about this man,
especially how much evil and what great suffering he has brought on
Your saints at Jerusalem;
Act 9:14 Now he
is here and has authority from the high priests to put in chains all
who call upon Your name.
Act 9:15 But
the Lord said to him, Go, for this man is a chosen instrument of Mine
to bear My name before the Gentiles and kings and the descendants of
Israel;
Act 9:16 For I
will make clear to him how much he will be afflicted and must endure
and suffer for My name's sake.
Act 9:17 So
Ananias left and went into the house. And he laid his hands on Saul and
said, Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus, Who appeared to you along the way
by which you came here, has sent me that you may recover your sight and
be filled with the Holy Spirit.
Act 9:18 And
instantly something like scales fell from [Saul's] eyes, and he
recovered his sight. Then he arose and was baptized,
Act 9:19 And
after he took some food, he was strengthened. For several days
[afterward] he remained with the disciples at Damascus.
Act 9:20 And
immediately in the synagogues he proclaimed Jesus, saying, He is the
Son of God!
