4 Demonstration of his power versus intellectual persuasion
1Co 2:4 And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power,
1Th 1:5 For our gospel did not come to you in word only, but also in power and in the Holy Spirit, and in much assurance, as you know what kind of men we were among you for your sake.
Make room for the demonstration of His power by how you present the gospel. For example, use your ears for a word of knowledge or lay hands on them so they can experience his presence for themselves.
5 Reaping mentality versus sowing mentality
You reap in a harvest, you don't sow seed.
Joh 4:35 Do you not say, It is yet four months, and the harvest comes? Behold, I say to you, Lift up your eyes and look on the fields, for they are white to harvest already.
Be ready to harvest. When you meet people who are ready, don't just sow another seed, bring them to Christ there and then. Say to them, can I lead in a pray to receive Jesus right now? You will be surprised how many are hungry and want to begin right away.
If you are afraid to bring them to the LORD they discern your fear and become afraid to come to the LORD themselves.
6 Jude 1:23 But save others with fear, snatching them out of the fire;
When a firefighter snatches someone from the fire, he dosen't hang around, because it's a matter of life or death! Snatching souls from the fire is a matter of heaven or hell. Lead them to Jesus there and then; they might not have another chance.
