Inviting the Healing Presence of the Lord

"Mat 14:14  And Jesus went forth, and saw a great multitude, and was moved with compassion toward them, and he healed their sick"

page 1 - page 2 - page 3

2Ki 3:14  And Elisha said, As the LORD of hosts liveth, before whom I stand, surely, were it not that I regard the presence of Jehoshaphat the king of Judah , I would not look toward thee, nor see thee.

2Ki 3:15  But now bring me a minstrel. And it came to pass, when the minstrel played, that the hand of the LORD came upon him.

2Ki 3:16  And he said, Thus saith the LORD, Make this valley full of ditches.

2Ki 3:17  "For thus says the LORD, 'You shall not see wind nor shall you see rain; yet that valley shall be filled with water, so that you shall drink, both you and your cattle and your beasts.

2Ki 3:18  'This is but a slight thing in the sight of the LORD; He will also give the Moabites into your hand.

2Ki 3:19  'Then you shall strike every fortified city and every choice city, and fell every good tree and stop all springs of water, and mar every good piece of land with stones.'"

2Ki 3:20  It happened in the morning about the time of offering the sacrifice, that behold, water came by the way of Edom, and the country was filled with water.

- please explain this

Joh 5:1  After these things there was a feast of the Jews, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem .

Joh 5:2  Now there is in Jerusalem by the sheep gate a pool, which is called in Hebrew Bethesda, having five porticoes.

Joh 5:3  In these lay a multitude of those who were sick, blind, lame, and withered, [waiting for the moving of the waters;

Joh 5:4  for an angel of the Lord went down at certain seasons into the pool and stirred up the water; whoever then first, after the stirring up of the water, stepped in was made well from whatever disease with which he was afflicted.]

Joh 5:5  A man was there who had been ill for thirty-eight years.

Joh 5:6  When Jesus saw him lying there, and knew that he had already been a long time in that condition, He *said to him, "Do you wish to get well?"

Joh 5:7  The sick man answered Him, "Sir, I have no man to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up, but while I am coming, another steps down before me."

Joh 5:8  Jesus *said to him, "Get up, pick up your pallet and walk."

Joh 5:9  Immediately the man became well, and picked up his pallet and began to walk. Now it was the Sabbath on that day.

7  A multitude were waiting for the stirring of the water, that is, the Living Water in our hearts being stirred enough to take it out to the lost and wounded.

Mercy is more than a feeling. It is going.

8   The world is waiting for us to be stirred, and once they see movement they will step in; once they see people being healed they will want to be a part as well.

9 John G. Lake saw about a 100 people a day come to the healing rooms, and witnessed 100,000 documented healings.
